- Our standard rate is $8 per VHS tape, irrespective of length.
- Tapes that are blank or exceptionally short (5-8 minutes) will not incur any charges.
- We aim to ensure fair pricing, and you won’t face additional charges for multiple passes to achieve the best possible digital quality.
Quality Assurance
- While we strive to restore tapes to the highest quality, please note that some issues may be beyond our control.
- Our team meticulously reviews tapes multiple times to provide you with the best digital quality achievable.
Quotation and Process:
- Once you’ve finalized the total number of tapes you wish to transfer, please inform me.
- I’ll promptly send you a comprehensive quote for your approval.
- Upon confirmation, kindly mail the tapes to me with a generated tracking number.
- Upon receipt, I’ll commence the transfer process.
- If adjustments to the quote are necessary (which typically only occur if tapes are unusable), rest assured, they will be in your favor.
After transfer completion, you’ll receive the quote along with shipping costs for the return of your tapes, accompanied by a USB drive containing your digital files.
Additional Services:
- Cleaning of moldy tapes is included at no extra charge, unless the condition significantly affects playback quality.
